Training trail for sled dog owners
We offer what you are looking for
Whether it's fall or winter training, whether with a cart or sled, here at Rocky Wolf Ranch, you and your dogs have a variety of training routes available. You can start on your own after registering, or you can ask us for advice on equipment, training, feeding, etc. We'll support you in creating a training plan if needed.
Interested sled dog owners without previous experience are also welcome!

5 km training route
On a groomed, approximately 5 km long training course, we offer you the opportunity to train your dog(s) with a guide or independently in both fall and winter. The course leads through meadows, forests, and along Prairie Creek. You will receive instructions and are responsible for yourself and your dog(s). Sportsmanlike behavior toward others on the course, as well as at the start and finish areas, is expected. You will receive more detailed information and prices with your inquiry or registration confirmation via email.
Beginner courses for mushers
Under professional guidance (Kilyan, multiple European Champion), you'll learn everything about training, feeding, equipment, and your personalized training plan during this beginner's course. Divided into a theoretical and practical session, you'll spend a day with your dog(s) at the Rocky Wolf Ranch.

Tips on training and accessories
If you're interested in dog sledding and have questions about training and accessories, we're happy to help. Please understand that we can't answer online questions, for example, about the fit of a harness. However, if you'd like to visit us with your questions, you're very welcome.
You will receive individual advice to start your new hobby together with your dog partner.
In addition to high-quality accessories (harnesses, leashes, collars, etc.), we also sell food for winners ;) of the Inukschuk brand upon request.
