We offer events for school classes and kindergarten groups throughout the year. Programs typically last 3-4 hours but can also be customized.
Depending on their age, children will learn interesting facts about the purebred sled dogs and their use in a child-friendly way, and they will have the opportunity to pet and cuddle the dogs. Depending on their age, short group hikes are a highlight. A campfire with stick bread grilling is also usually a big hit with the children.
For older school classes, the programs focus on general information about sled dogs, as well as the history and use of sled dogs by Native Americans and Inuit, especially in Canada. The story of the rare and presumed extinct Canadian Eskimo Dog is particularly important in Canadian history. This makes for a great place for discussions around the campfire. This made the visit to Rocky Wolf Ranch even compatible with the curriculum.

The shoots are ideal for individuals, couples, children, and families. Please note that costumes must be arranged by the photographer. The date will be arranged in consultation with Kilyan—our photographer—and is dependent on weather and lighting conditions, so a certain degree of flexibility is important.
