At Rocky Wolf Ranch, we offer training opportunities for sled dogs and their owners – regardless of whether you are just starting out or already have experience in dog-powered sports.
You can use our trails independently, take part in courses, or receive targeted guidance.
Training takes place with a wagon or sled, depending on the season.
5 km Training Trail
On our approx. 5 km long training trail, you can train independently with your dog or, by arrangement, drive under guidance.
The trail runs across open fields, through forests and along Prairie Creek, offering varied conditions for training and development.
Driving is done with a wagon or sled, depending on the season.
Prior registration is required.
You will receive an introduction and use the trail at your own responsibility.
Introductory Courses for Mushers
Under professional guidance (Kilyan – multiple-time European champion), you will receive a practical introduction to dog-powered sports.
As part of a full-day course, the fundamentals are taught in both theory and practice.
This includes, among other things, training, feeding, equipment, as well as building a team and creating an individual training plan.
After a theoretical part, the content is directly applied together in practical work with the dogs.
We focus specifically on you and your dog.
The course is aimed at both beginners and sled dog owners without prior experience who want to enter the sport in a structured way.

Advice & Equipment
We provide individual advice on training, feeding, equipment and building a functioning team.
We support both beginners and dogs in individual training, as well as advanced teams.
From the first steps with a single dog to further development in a team, we adapt the guidance to your level and your goals.
In addition to advice, you also have the opportunity to purchase suitable equipment directly on site.
We are also a dealer for INUKSHUK dog food and carry selected products for active dogs.
We help you choose the right equipment and adjust feeding specifically to your dog or your team.
